SBCC West Campus Parking Lot, Santa Barbara, CA

Mega Solar is pleased to announce that we have recently completed our largest project to date. We were hired by Compass Energy Solutions under a contract with Santa Barbara City College to install 1,344 solar panels that produce approximately 235 kilowatts of electricity. This is enough power to sustain about 30% of the college's West Campus. Take a look at the video to see some of the people who made this project a success.

Many may not recognize that SBCC has "gone green" because of Mega Solar's streamlined and practical design for this project. All 1,344 panels have been installed on three shade structures on the West Campus parking lots. These steel post-and-beam structures were built especially for this project and provide an added element of comfort for the college's commuters.
